On 10-11 February there was a meeting of the Ukrainian-German Jury of the “Meeting Point – Dialogue” Programme in Ukraine. This was the 7th call of proposals.

The Jury has thoroughly analysed and evaluated 52 applications and recommended 17 of these to be financially supported. All applications supported on this stage of the competition are focused on providing active support to people who suffered from Nazi regime, especially to people with restricted mobility.

Some selected projects contain very interesting and innovative ideas activities aimed at supporting elder people evacuated from the occupied Donbass zone and to elder people who live on the territories damaged by war.

The directors of 9 TLU branches on study visit to UK in the framework of EC project “Improving Government Accountability Through Older Citizens’ Monitoring in Ukraine”. The project is done in partnership with HelpAge International. During the visit Ukrainian learned the experience of their colleagues from HelpAge International, Age UK and other governmental and no-governmental organisations and initiatives.

Volunteers of Kiev TLU branch carried out an action «Make your input into our victory”. Volunteers collected warm clothes and food and donated these to the Centre of ATO soldiers support.

Within three days On request of UNFPA a group of volunteers of Kiev TLU branch have been packing NFI to be delivered to the IDPs (Internally displaced people) from the ATO zone.

The volunteers of Kiev TLU branch took part in the “I am Volnovakha” action.

The volunteers of Ternopil TLU branch have made 12 winter camouflage suits, they knit woollen socks, make special scrims and masking fringe to be sewn on the camouflage suits. The methodology was presented by younger volunteers who have been to ATO and assessed the needs faces by soldiers.
