    Suits and masking fringe for soldiers of ATO

    The volunteers of Ternopil TLU branch have made 12 winter camouflage suits, they knit woollen socks, make special scrims and masking fringe to be sewn on the camouflage suits. The methodology was presented by younger volunteers who have been to ATO and assessed the needs faces by soldiers.

    Food for elder people in Gorlivka and Alchevsk

    We had a grant from French Embassy in Ukraine – 8000 Euro – to purchase and to deliver food to Gorlivka and Alchevsk.

    These cities are located in the zone which is not controlled by Ukraine. People living there face biggest difficulties especially elders. They receive neither pensions nor benefits, many of them became frail and immobile because of malnutrition, lack of medicines and care.

    Evacuation of elder people from Makeyevka

    WJR (World Jewish Relief), located in UK, has financially supported evacuation of 55 elder people with psycho-neurological disorders from Makeyevka nursing home. These people have been cordially met in Chercassy oblast and accommodated in 6 local nursing homes.

    Further on WJR has granted another 6500 Euros to TLU to purchase beddings, winter clothes, sanitation and hygiene items to these people. We purchased and transported the things to make their life comfortable and safe in their new homes. WE greatly appreciate the timely support provided by WJR.
